Problem updating WM6 to WM5 on x51v
Hi everybody out there
It is look like I did all the right moves of upgrading WM6 to WM5 on my x51v but to no avail.
I am having error message that the operation encountered error due to the need in fat32 device.
Here is what I did:
I installed "Pocket Mechanic" (trial version 2.92) on SD 2GB (could be too big perhaps?) and got the hard disk icon as normal device onto the desktop computer screen, as the SD card and the property of it says that it is fat32 partition.
Then, I copied the WM6 file (44 Mb) and the CRC file (8 Kb) onto the root directory of the fat32 device (that is on the SD card).
Next, I pushed the "WiFi" and the "On" button together while pushing in the Reset button at the back of the device afterwards. Then, after about 10 seconds, I released the reset button while yet holding the other two buttons pressed down.
As the message appeared on the screen I released the two, yet pressed, buttons.
As I said above the message indicated (time and again) as error, saying that I have to use fat32 partition.
It seems to me like I was following the instructions properly. Yet it goes wrong again and again.
What am I doing wrong?
Is somebody can help?
Thanks
