Notes Sync x51

When I sync on my x51 the newest notes entered from the Axim do not seem to show on my PC. I did upgrade my PC perhaps about the time the problems started. What else do I need to do?

Tell us what you upgraded your PC to? What version of AS you have? If in settings you have notes selected to sync? Your rom version on ax? For a start

Dell Pentium D 2.8 GHz, 1.0 G RAM
Yes, notes is checked on axim,
ROM version A02 (09120500)
I am operating Windows XP
What else?
by the way, notes sync from computer to axim, just not the other way

Hey, you are using an older rom version, if you are using english the latest version is AO12, an update is highly recommended, if another language, try searching Dell.com for the latest update for you." what version of AS are you using?"

NB: Note this is a post of where my configuration is now, Working now.


Notes syncing. you can prioritise which notes from which device you sync. Connect ax to PC and let it sync. Once synced, go tools/options and select the freindly name of the PC you are syncing with and click settings

then you can toggle between these selections depending on which you have last updated.

Thanks, I will try what you have mentioned. Forgive my ignorance, what is AS? And where do I get the update for my older version of ROM?

A warning! and it struck me earlier today that I did not mention this in my last post " Updating ROM requires a hard reset, only proceed if you have backed up all of your vital information, have all of the installation files for the programs you are using, and read throughly the procedure for applying the update at dell". That being said, you can have a look here at dell. It should help you narrow down which version you can update to, make sure you check also for any complimentary patches that you may need to update.
