need to sync a recording from notes

I am not the most computer literate person so please bear with me...I have a recording in "notes" and when I sync, everything gets transferred to my pc except for the recordings. I have searched my computer and can't find them anywhere (even had my kid search for me, they seem to know much more than me!). Is there a simple way to transfer a recording from notes to my pc, somewhere that is easy to find and access such as "documents"? I need this recording on my pc to cleanup some background noise so that other things may be heard clearly (still haven't tackled that computer program yet!). Thanks in advance for any information.

Hi. The recording should be saved in the My Documents folder on your axim.

The simplest way to transfer this to your PC is to connect the PDA via activesync and then on your PC, use Start > My Computer to open the folder Mobile device, then again Mobile device and look for the folder called My Documents. You can the copy and paste the file to your PC as if you were working with another hard disk.
