Serial Number

I have just installed new software (Sanford Guide) onto my Axim X51v and the registration process requests my Axim serial number. I cannot find this anywhere, I have checked my machine, the users manual, Dell support sites, Microsoft Pocket PC site and searched this and other fora. I have tried leaving it blank and putting in a fictional number but no luck. I tried typing the numbers inside the battery compartment but this doesn't work either. I would be extremely grateful if somebody could tell me how to find this number.

What others call a serial number, Dell call a service tag and this can be found under the battery. It is normally 7 characters long and is alphanumeric.

Their is also an express service code, but the unique number for each Dell is the service Tag.

Thanks! I had tried that but it turns out the bug was at their end and it has now been fixed although they made me change my login password.
