Files not moving over to SD Card

Have a X50 and just bought a 1 gig SD card. Once I put the card in and place it on the cradle, I dont see a folder being created where I can place my music files on the card. Any suggestions?

Go to my Start, My computer, Mobile Device, Mobile device ( yes 2 times), then you should see the SD card

I would hard reset your X50 ( press and hold power and whilst doing so press reset).

    Try again

If the problem continues, I would contact Dell and send it back as it wil be probably faulty.

This didn't work. On ActiveSync, I clicked explore, My PocketPC and the folders listed are:

    Databases
    Application Data
    Built-in Storage
    ConnMgr
    My Documents
    profiles
    Program Files
    Temp
    Windows
and some file called "Restart Syncronization Marker.2"

What you should see is a folder in My Device named "SD Card". Check your SD slot for debris (pocket lint or the like) with a flashlight. Next, you could try formatting the SD card from an SD reader on a desktop PC that can see the card. Properly formatting the SD card as FAT32 (or FAT for very small cards) can make them show up in Windows Mobile.
