Battery Life on the Axim X50V

Has anyone had an issue with the normal battery or the extended battery for the x50v drianing when not used over a weekend? It has happened numerous times and I even received an advanced replaement x50v from dell and it is doing the same thing. Dell is no help. :angry: Can anyone help me out or confirm they have a simular issue.

By draining, do you mean totally empty or just loosing a little ?

I've not checked the amount, but after 2 days of just being left alone, I would expect my x50 to have lost upto 8% charge maximum.

This is because all PDA's when "off" are actually in a suspend mode that does use some power to retain the volatile memory.

If you mean that over 2 days of not being used your batteries are empty, then that is not normal and I do not have that problem.

I would check to see if your bluetooth or WiFi are staying on, they would be prime culprits

The batteries are totally drianed. Today I shut off the wifi and bluetooth and I will see if that cures the problem. I had a x3 and x30 before and this didn't seem to happen to them. Must be another "special" feature the x50. Thanks for the help.
