So you have an sd card, try downloading the files again. you definitely have the two files on the card? I also see that the file is a .rar file, did you extract it to get the .nbh and .crc files and put them on the SD card? a good free utility for that is 7zip, and it's free

is there anyway someone can call me on the phone or give me a number to reach you at, so i can get this taken care of im getting frustrated. my number is 877-238-0379 it is toll free so no long distance charges.. please help i think i have the right files. i have tried many times with the SD card and i still get the same message. i cannot figure out the CF card 4 button thing. i tried lennys program and it got half way and stopped any info on that... thanks to all for all your help..

Sure. I found a post called easier way to recover your x50 after you bricked it.. so i followed the directions in that post.
