    What is an Axim X510?

Can someone tell me what an Axim X510 is? I've tried searching the 'net but can only find a couple of vague references. Does it have the same functions as a x50/x51/x51v or are there any links to manuals etc?

Never heard of that one. The X51v is the last one I heard of. Could it be a typo.....

    That'd have to be a typo, x51v, x50v, x5, x3.

Nope I've checked and on the front of the unit it has Axim x510. I have found some mention by users of other forums of a model x510 (Dell Axim X510 Issues - Promixis, LLC Forums) but don't seem to find any official info. Could it be a special model for a specific market (I live in Austria)?

The V on the logo is stylised, but definitely a V

Thanks for taking the time to clarify it for me.

I guess I need to decide now if a x51V is worth getting.

Cheers, The x51 is a great device, I've got x51 and x51v, both still great to test stuff out on, but for me I still needed more. 3g HSPDA connectivity. I snapped that shot from my Touch Diamond 2, 5 megapixel camera. WM 6.5. Cost $100 more six months ago, than I paid for the x51 in Jan 2007.

It depends though what you want to do with it. It's still the nicest standalone PDA out there.
