SD/IO or CF/IO what is better?

Hi all, been around for some time now and have desided that i will buy a axim x51v but i am not sure if i should buy a huge SD or CF card as there seems to be diferent CF/IO and SD/IO cards on the market.

i was first thinking of buying a 2 Gb SD card and a 8 Gb CF Microdrive but now i have notice that SDIO dosnt have any ethernet cards but that you can find for CF so my question is what should i go for?

not sure i realy need an ethernet card as i can buy a wifi accesspoint and bring it to connect instead of ethernet but still seems to be more things out for CF slott then SD and for the price i dont realy care as the axime will be a lot less money then the Qtek i was thinking to buy from the begining.

True, there are more expansion options for CF than SD. CF has a lot more room for a lot more circuitry. My suggestion is definitely NOT buy a CF ethernet adapter and spend the money instead on a WAP for network connectivity. I would opt for SD storage over CF just in case you find something you'd like to do with CF that you can't do with SD- TV or FM tuner, serial adapter, etc.

well radio and TV can be found for SD only thing i cant find is ethernet but thats no big loos, maybe buy a 4 Gb SD and a 6 Gb Cf microdrive, then i have enough memory on both places what ever i buy later

You are right, TV and FM are in fact available for SD (you taught me something). 10 GB of storage is more than anyone will ever need!

well i allways read up on anything i buy so i know more then the people in the stor because usually those people dont have a clue about what they sell

I think i start to know most things about what tweeks and stuff i will need for my dayli use of an axim now
and 10 Gb isnt that much if you have some DiVX movies on it
but sure is enough for most people
