Dell 3xi not recognizing SD Memory Card

I have a 3 month old Dell 3xi not recognizing SD Memory Cards ---- any SD Memory Card (256 Mb) ----- does anybody have a similar problem? And, what is the solution?

Making sure it was not my 256 Mb SD Memory Cards, I visited a large retail computer store, and inserted my cards into Ipaq's -- and bingo, they all were recognized right away.

Please post your suggestions.

I would call Dell and arrange for them to send a replacement unit. It sounds like you have a bad SD slot.
