FYI:

Panasonic & Hitachi based SD cards already read / write at that speed...

I've got a PXA255 developement kit (not mine, I was lent it) and that shows I/O speed for flash memory...

The Axim strangely enough should be able to read / write to SD cards at 20MB/s ... That's faster than CF cards. Yet my Ax processes SD cards as fast as the PXA dk...
