Network Password

I know this isn't about the Axim, but it will aid me in connecting it to a network. ... Apparently, some time ago, I must have entered a password for my home network. Last night, I was setting up a new ethernet card and a router so that I can do WiFi with the Axim. It asked me for the user name and password for the network, and I entered what I usually use for a user name and password. In every case, I was told that the password was wrong, and after three tries, it kicked me out. I set up a new user name and password, and it was accepted the first time, but every time after that, it said the password was wrong. I think the problem is that it is asking for the Adminstrator user name and password. Mine should be good, because it is my computer. The question is: Does anyone know how to change the user name/ password, or completely delete it so that I can start over? Thanx, Frank

I forgot to mention that the router must be set-up over the network, and I need to be able to sign on as the administrator to do this. Frank

Are you talking about resetting a password in your router?

One time, while waiting for the computer to reboot, I started reading the big manual that came with the router. I got to page 14 by the time the computer had finised rebooting, so I started working with the router again, and each time it did not recognize my password. It looked like the network user id and password were not being accepted. We have a very good IT guy that works in the lab next to mine, so I asked him what could possibly be the problem. RTM!!! On page 15 of the router manual, it said to use "admin" as the user id, and no password. I had been using the network stuff. Ironically, I stopped reading on the page previous to the solution.
