WiFi antenna flashing for no reason

Lately my wifi antenna has been blinking for no apparent reason. To my knowledge, I have not changed any settings, although I was attempting to connect at home to my broadband (not wireless) connection.

Dell support could not tell me why and the manual is useless. Any ideas?

It's a minor annoyance but I don't want battery life to be affected....

Either try performing a hard-reset or push your wireless button again. I have noticed when I turn my wireless off, then turn my Axim off before the wireless completely shuts off the light will still blink the next time I turn the Axim on. I then pushed my wireless button and it shut everything off, and the light quit blinking

I wonder if there is any setting to disable that blinking light at all. Its a funny gadget but totally useless. There are indicators on the screen which show wether or not Wifi is working.

Especially in the dark that light is very disturbing.

Does anyone know if there is any registry switch for that?
