Hi,
on my desktop activesync 3.6 is not able to store a created partnership with my new axim: After disconnect and reconnect I only get a guest-connection and so synchronisation is not possible!
Is there any help? I've seen that some other threads covered the same problem but did not get any solution. Is there really no solution?
To bring some more technical details about the problem:
Looking at the wcesmgr.log-file I can see the following content:
Checking existing partnership on device 0x251B4987.
ActiveSync second instance started, Cmd line: '/onconnect'
ActiveSync second instance exiting
IE Version:5.50.4807.2300 IE5=1

ERROR returned in function CCeSync::CheckPartner. hr: 0x80004005

and so on.
There seems to be a problem in function CCeSync::CheckPartner.hr. What to do? When synchronizing my old philips nino (Windows CE 2.1) with the same activesync-Version all works fine.
Any help would be great. I have Windows 2K and outlook 98.
Thanks in advance
Frank
