Axim x50v should I smash it into little pieces?
Hi guys
I bought a Dell Axim x50v on Ebay and its driving me mad.
After a lot of research I thought this PDA is the one for me.
Its really sluggish and often crashes. I have switched to maximum processor speed, switched off error reporting, done many hard and soft resets and still it seems useless.
It does however get rather hot on the battery mabe that’s a clue?
Its running Windows mobile 6 Classic (came installed when I bought it from Ebay) and I’m wondering that it’s because of this operating system? Should I reinstall the original OS? If so after some research it seems very complicated and scary?
Maybe the Axim should run as it does but for me after using a Palm PDA for years I’m considering to go back to Palm.
Please help as I love the axim and would be so happy if I could get it up and running.
