Well I figured as much having plenty of views of my post with no response and have resigned my attachment to unrecoverable files. So do not loose any sleep over bearing of bad news. I did a hard reset and now I have a frozen screen asking me to press either the "contacts" button to restore factory settings or the "messaging" button to cancel. All buttons are unresponsive including the power button once it has been turned on. One exception is the soft reset button will work but brings the same screen with options to reset factory settings or cancel the operation.
I have been extremely satisfied with this machine up until this point and hope that someone here can help me get it running again.
