Similar Problems with X30: Won't Start up at all

My 2-year-old X30 is having some similar issues. I am new to this forum, so if I make mistakes, please forgive me. My unit was working perfectly until 2 weeks ago when during a trip the unit would shut down completely with a fresh battery. No low backup battery message ever displayed. Now the unit will not power up at all, even though the battery shows a full charge as indicated by a green power button. Changing batteries and reset have affected not change. Any ideas? Thanks.
