Axim x50 won't sync! Please help!
My axim x50 stopped syncing one night and hasn't been synching ever since. I am so distressed because I am no longer able to add any new files onto my Axim. No more videos or ebooks. The device is now almost useless..
I have uninstalled and reinstalled activesync about 3 times and even put on a copy on an old laptop I never use. Activesync never detects the device when it's hooked up to the computer via the cradle. I am plugging directly onto USB without a hub. The only firewall I have is Windows firewall, but I am not sure that couldn't be the problem. I tried turning it off once and that didn't help.
Any ideas on what I could do? BTW, when i try to sync on the computer, the axim does make some kind of a sound even though it doesn't get detected.. that shows me that there is some kind of communication between the computer and the device, so not all hope is lost.
Anyhow, please give some suggestions on how to get my Axim synching again.
