I wanted to post a reply to help out those with Dell laptops. I got a new X51v yesterday and spent almost 5 hours trying to sync it to my Inspiron laptop with no success. I know my way around a computer pretty well but still couldnt figure out what was wrong. What I finally came to find is that the Toshiba stack is the problem. Go to add and remove programs and get rid of it. Once I did that, I just followed the directions in active sync and had it up and running in less than a minute. Using the MS bluetooth utility works great. Hopefully this info helps someone out...
