I agree - just copy your mp3's to an SD card, using your desktop computer. Then stick the SD card in your axim. Then put your axim in landscape mode (to allow easier viewing of longer filenames such as title and artist). Then I use Rescoe file explorer to navigate over to my storage folder and click on the files I want to play.

Don't waste time trying to get them onto your axim using activesync- will take forever.
