Battery Issues
I had to hard reset about a month ago, before then all was well. After hard reseting I have been unable to switch batteries in my PDA. When I exchange a fully charged battery for one the is say 20%, the PDA doesn't recognize the full charge on the new battery and acts like it only has 20% power left. I have tried repeated cycles of completly draining and then recharging both batteries in the PDA, I also did the ROM update to A05, and manuely added everything back on my PDA. I am still not able to switch batteries. I have even brorrowed spare batteries (fully charged) from friends and the PDA won't recognize the full charge on those (so it is not my batteries).
Plus when I remove the battery the PDA thinks it wants to hard reset, but I can save my data by pushing the button with the envelope on it.
I am out of warrenty and dell has been less then helpful. The PDA works fine as long as I don't try to change battereis, I am not always near an AC outlet with time to charge the PDA when I am on the wards (I'm a medical student) and being able to switch batteries would be nice.
Any suggestions?
