I have a Dell Axim x50v that was running ROM version A02. It's been unused for quite awhile and I figured I'd update it to the latest ROM (A05). I downloaded A05 and executed the program. I backed up A02 and then proceeded but about 15% of the way through, I got an error that the USB device was disconnected (?). I didn't disconnect anything! However, I was using my PC at the time, with multiple applications open. Could this have caused it?
Regardless, I now have a completely dead Axim. When the error appeared on my PC, the Axim froze on the progress bar screen, so I turned it off. However, the device will not power back on again

Is there a way to get into FLASH mode to restore the ROM? I read online that you can do this with the HP iPaq units.
