Greetings all. I just recently purchased an Axim x51v w/wired GPS.
So far I am loving my Axim!!
BUT, I recenlty started having problems with the GPS. When I first started using it I would turn on my Axim, hook up the GPS, give it a destination and away I'd go. It would locate me immediatly and start navigating. Lately when I turn my Axim on, hook up the GPS, and then give it a destination, it doesn't do anything. Then like 5 minutes later (give or take a few minutes...doens't seem to be a set time) it will just wake up and away we go.
Any ideas what might be causing this? The first time it happened it was avery cloudy and overcast day...thought that might be the problem, but I had used it before under similar weather conditions (I live in Seattle, WA). Then I tried it again on a perfectly clear day...same result. So I am confused as to what might be going on. Anyone have any ideas?
