Frozen Screen Align

I have an X5 400 mHz and have had relatively few problems in almost 3 years. it recently was dropped and although landed softly in case, the touch screen has been unresponsive. i have done soft and hard resets, tried the repair on the ribbon cable and still no luck. it will reset to initial touch screen to align, but does not respond to anything past that. anyone have any other suggestions? thanks.
