Thanks for your quick reply. The symptoms described at the suggested Exchange hack match well with the behavior of my Axim, so I went ahead implementing the fix. Hope the problem will go away... Also hope it would also fix another problem when the Axim is in the craddle and connected to PC via USB, it keeps turning on every few minutes. Once again, many thanks...
