You can connect via BT to your mobile for Verizon, it only costs minutes, less nights and weekends. FYI, I found out that V-Cast capable phones currently cannot connect to the internet b/c Verizon realized that they allow broadband speeds for free so they disabled it. Verizon support informed me that they are working on a fix to differentiate between broadband and non-bb subscribers using V-Cast so they can allow low-speed dial up again.
