Axim X3 Backup Battery identification
My Axim X3 is useless with it's dead backup battery! Having tried all the alternative charging options given, I have come to the conclusion that it really has died and therefore must be replaced.
I have managed to remove the back cover, and by removing the 3 screws and popping off the wire to the speaker, the motherboard can be lifted enough to access the backup battery. As the Dell site appears to be experiencing problems today (!) I cannot even attempt to order a new backup battery from them.
Replacing this battery does not seem too difficult -as long as I can find the correct rechargeable replacement with the tags & connector (my one has the number 113 stamped on the moulded soft battery casing). Can anybody identify the backup battery specification, and perhaps give me an alternative supplier? Thanks.
