basic questions before getting X51v

Hi all, can the pda dial a number or send sms through my mobile phone??? well, writting sms and looking contacts and call contacts from the pda to my mobile is one of the main purpose getting a pda. can someone kindly confirm with me, am a true newbie here. thanks
