Can't sync with Active Sync 4

I just received my new X51v. I was replacing a 3 year old Axim and was really excited about the new goodies on this one. I loaded the Active Sync 4 that came from Dell and it will not detect the new Axim. I can't even get to the partnership setup. My old one connects fine. What is going on, help!
