Yeah, I'm as confused as the topic title.
I found this site:
http://www.ppc4all.com/appdetail.php?id=1020
It has links to several options, including pocket divx, DVD to Pocket Pc, PVPlayer, PockIt, Pocket DVD Studio, Snapstream PocketPVS etc.
I've also seen threads here about which file type is smaller, better, etc., but can't remember what they said (guess I need to search again).
I want to be able to do two things:
Rip a commercial DVD to a format that will play on PPC with minimal file size and decent quality (yeah, I know decent is subjective). I am also wondering if any of these support episodic dvds so I can rip a single episode of a series dvd.
Play tv across a wifi 802.11b network. (I am planning to upgrade my pc with a tv capture card and probably snapstream's beyond tv and a wifi 802.11b router). I'd like to be able to catch that video on the x5 so I can huddle under the blankets this weekend with whatever I happen to have been watching when I got cold.

I have dish network for tv service (nothing available on the air waves without it).
Thanks for suggestions.
