I'm in the same boat you are, and I agree with you, $75 for a PPC VPN client is outrageous. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any other options other than the WM 2003 built-in client.

I believe they are targeting the business and corporate sector with this client, thus the price. I believe it would behoove them to offer a personal version for folks who are in your shoes.

I don't need to connect with my Axim that bad, but you are in a different situation, I hope there is something out there.
