The A02 ROM Upgrade is free, and is availible on Dell's support site. As it stands, you must have ROM A00 to upgrade to A02.
It does reset the unit to the factory settings. As far as the changes, I'm still discovering them, and they are mostly subtle. Most notably, they've added 802.1x security support under the wireless client. Also, I've noticed that it fixed the WM 2003 duplicate notification entries upon soft reset. [/b][/quote]
