I just got Belkin Wireless Keyboard for my Axim X5. I have been
trying desperately to make it work, but still not any luck yet.
Axim has never detected the signal from the keyboard.
System configuration:
Dell Axim X5 400MHz (Got it in Aug. 2003)
OS: Microsoft PPC 2003
I backed up the file first and installed driver came with the CD.
Put in a brandnew AAA battery and turned on axim. Press two
Shift keys together and moved it back and forth, left and right.
The right corner never showed any sign. I tried to turn off the
disable "Receive all incoming beams", not any luck.
Then i downloaded latest driver from Belkin (09/28/2003).
I did a hard reset on my system (caz I found that previous
driver was not removed clearly.) and installed newest driver,
still not working.
Could any guru give me a clue on what the problems?
BTW, there is a tiny button to the right side the battery box on
this keyboard, what is the for? Switching between different
channels? I tried to press it several times, there is no
responsing showing any sign of change or what so ever?
Thanks a lot!
